Limping
Monday morning, one week to holidays. I had driven my two daughters to school and was looking forward to getting our home back into order after focusing heavily on our church’s children’s Christmas service. Looking for a place to start cleaning, I saw an open notebook on Katrina’s* bed, and bits of scribbled paper around her desk. I picked them up and glanced at them while tidying up.

What is the LCA’s official stance on saints and newly created saints? Who does the LCA believe has the authority to declare someone a saint?
If Mary were simply Mary and not the Virgin Mary, would this make any difference to our salvation? Why has the church insisted that Mary be a virgin in order for God to achieve his redemptive work for us?
