GIVING TO LUTHERAN MEDIA MINISTRY MADE EASY

Media Electronic Giving was introduced by the LLL in 1998, to provide a way for people to give regularly to the work of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) using the banking system electronic direct debit facility. This regular giving may be fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or half yearly.

Details of transactions are kept totally confidential - no personal details are given to Lutheran Media Ministry. LMM is advised of the total amount credited to their account for the month, together with the number of members making transfers. Occasionally we ask the LLL to send out thank you letters or cards to donors on our behalf. In this way confidentiality is maintained.

To use this facility, a MEG Direct Debit Request form (DDR) must be completed and lodged with the LLL. This form gives the LLL authority to deduct the amount specified from your LLL account or your account with another financial institution, and transfer it to the LLL account held by Lutheran Media Ministry. Contact Lutheran Media Ministry or the LLL if you would like a copy of this form, or you can download a copy in Adobe Acrobat "PDF" form by clicking here.

There are no charges if your gift comes from your LLL account. Some banks, building societies or credit unions may charge transaction fees to transfer monies.

What are the advantages of MEG?

  • It provides a regular income for LMM. Budgeting is more accurate.
  • It is convenient.
  • It is flexible. You can increase, decrease, postpone or cancel the amount of your gift at any time.
  • Your gift is transferred no matter where you are.
