  • Worth Doing Well

“If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well. No matter how long it takes, or how much you’d like to cut corners. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.”

Have you enjoyed the satisfaction of doing something really well, especially if it’s taken a lot of effort? To say “it’s finished” isn’t so much the end, it’s more like the start of enjoying your efforts. This week Noel Due will be talk about the work that Jesus did on the cross. When he said “it is finished” it was the start of a new life for us.

  • The Doctor

Do you like visiting the doctor? Sometimes I don’t want to visit my doctor because I’m afraid of what he’ll say, even though I know it’ll be good for me in the long run! I know that for some people, the only way you’ll get them to a doctor is in the back of an ambulance! Please join Richard Fox this week on Face to Face as he talks more about visiting the doctor and how Jesus is like the best doctor we could ever have.

  • Many Fathers

“In my lifetime, I have had many fathers. Sadly, it is also true that fathers don’t always get things right.”

How many fathers have you had? I guess that might seem a strange question, so let me rephrase it. How many men have had an influence on your life? This week James Winderlich will talk about the many male mentors he has had over the years, how they’ve influenced him, and how God, as a father, forgives, restores and rebuilds our lives.

  • The Princess Syndrome

“One of the first words that our children learn is: NO! Along with, “I want”. Adults are often little different – they hate the word, “no”.

From time to time there are articles and discussions about the princess syndrome. One of the characteristics is the belief that I have a right to whatever I want.

Mark Doecke talks about the princess syndrome. But he says it’s not just a problem for girls.

  • I Thirst

“Colin was a friend of mine. He drank too much. And underneath it all was a raging thirst. A thirst for love, for forgiveness, for respect.”

Are you thirsty? Do you have a nagging feeling deep down of being unsatisfied with life?

Noel Due focuses on two words that Jesus cried out from the cross. I thirst. What will satisfy your thirst?

  • Lost And Found

Have you ever felt lost? Not sure what direction you’re heading in or where to go? I was recently lost in a foreign city and I was trying to get home. I was scared and desperate and didn’t know which way to go.

Richard Fox shares more about his adventures of getting lost in a foreign city and how God can help.

  • Freewheeling With God

Do you remember learning to ride a bike? It’s a bit scary at first, but over time you build trust and confidence, and find your balance.

Trevor Keller talks about a similar experience, regarding a relationship with Jesus Christ. Some things are worth sticking with because the end result is liberating.
