As an arm of the Church we as Lutheran Men of Australia support the Mission of the Lutheran Church of Australia.

We encourage men in the church to become involved with the activities of their Congregations, with Bible Study, Friendship Groups & in other functions that happen in their Congregations.
Many Fellowships within the Membership of L, M.A.S.A.D. hold Men's Breakfast's with quality Guest Speakers these occasions bring along many people who are not activley involved in their area & they are often encouraged by what they see & hear at these gatherings from not only the Guest Speakers but from the fellowship of those around them. This is but one way in which men can become more involved within their Congregations.
There are also various Fellowships that hold an Annual Dinner in their particular area in which they invite other Congregations to attend, these Dinner's they also have good Guest Speakers, the Executive of L.M.A. are usually represented at these functions & it is a pleasure to see many people come together in fellowship.
We also distribute a Newsletter twice a year which goes out to all Pastor's & Congregations that have an EMAIL address, also to Members of L.M.A.. who are on our regular mailing list. There is also a LUTHERAN MEN MAGAZINE that is published quarterly, although this does depend on information being forwarded to the Editor.
We would ask the Council of Mission to consider advising the Secretary of L.M.A. or the Editor of the Magazine with information on what the Council of Mission is doing at various times, in this way we then as men who are interested in what the Mission of the Church is looking for may be able to assist in some way.
We would like to hear more from Pastors as to ways in which we as men of the Church can assist them in helping to participate in the spreading of the "Gospel" to all those about the community in which they are situated. Over the years Lutheran Men of Australia have assisted Graduating Pastors, but we quite often do not hear from them once they have Graduated, & we would encourage the Council of Mission to advise the Pastors that they have an ally in Lutheran Men to assist them in their Mission to spread the "Gospel". (Is this not what we are all required to do)
Lutheran Men Of Australia are an auxillary of the Lutheran Church and our projects go to further the word of "Our Lord". Our project for this trienium is to raise $15,000-00 which will go to book vouchers for graduating Pastors (All graduating Pastors for the past 45 years that I know of have received vouchers). Also as you may be aware, Lutheran Media Ministry relies on contributions for it to continue the great work that it does world wide. $8,000-00 of our projects will go to the Lutheran Media Ministry.
